Announcing Our New Purpose and Company Values
Today marks the start of the financial year and we’re proud and excited to announce our new Purpose and Company Values.
TECS has evolved significantly over the past three years, and it has been important to us both that our Purpose and Values continue to reflect the future vision of the company.
Our Purpose defines the reason TECS exists, and our Values guide the way we behave. And these are really important because they provide a foundation to direct us in our dealings with colleagues, customers, suppliers, our shareholders and members of the communities we serve.

Our Purpose
“Keeping people safe”
Our customers are some of the UK’s leading public and private sector organisations and they depend on our expertise to ensure that their buildings and the people who occupy them remain safe at all times.
The common theme that links all the building compliance services we provide is that they ensure peoples safety which is why we have chosen “Keeping people safe” as our Purpose.
“Keeping people safe” is our ‘why’ and we will achieve this by promoting and practicing our four Values in everything we do.
Our Values
Our Values are a set of guiding principles that determine how we behave and the actions we take. They define what we believe in and the standards we will uphold.
Our Values are: Community, Professionalism, Transparency and Accountability and the graphic below explains what they mean to us and how they will help us to do the right thing.
We will use them to ensure we deliver our operations respectfully and with integrity in the communities where we work. They will feature prominently throughout our business and be used as part of internal and external communications to ensure we are reminded of what they stand for and why they are important to us.
