It cannot be over-emphasised how important it is to keep cooling towers working safely and efficiently, given they are a breeding ground for Legionella bacteria. Our services are tailored to meet your system needs and the requirements of ACoP L8 and HSG274 Part 1. When water is not treated properly, contaminants may cause fouling of system which affects its operational efficiency and increases the risk caused by legionella growth. As a result, costs of running the system may be impacted.
In order to ensure our clients are fully compliant and running as efficiently as possible, we provide a detailed logbook, either as a hard document or via our bespoke portal which enables you to track everything from servicing logs to water analysis results.
We provide water treatment and analysis for all types of closed loop (closed circuit) water systems to help protect against corrosion, scale, sludge and microbiological growth. We have many years’ experience working in domestic, commercial and industrial process environments, meaning that we are well-placed to ensure that your system is operating as efficiently as possible.
Should you be experiencing issues with your closed circuit systems, we can provide a consultancy service and remedial recommendations to improve conditions and return your systems to an acceptable standard, using the BSRIA documents BG29 and BG50 as an example of industry best practice.
Our experienced service chemists are on hand to provide superior industrial and commercial steam boiler water treatment services. Our aim is to maximise efficiency, keep operations cost-effective, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Our team will advise on the best pre-treatment plant for your needs to effectively remove the pollutants and impurities from the water used in your systems and processes. We can design, supply and install a range of pre-treatment plant depending on the application required, including sedimentation, filtration, softeners, reverse osmosis, flocculation and coagulation. Our servicing and maintenance programmes will help to keep your system at optimum performance, ensure water quality and support the longevity of your plant.
We possess a wealth of knowledge on water treatment chemicals and their effective delivery for virtually any type of system. The combination is specifically engineered to protect both your water supply and equipment, promoting maximum working efficiency. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we regularly review the chemical options available and can advise you on alternative methods of disinfection, such as thermal where feasible.
Treatments, such as chlorine and UV radiation, are used to effectively sterilise your pool environment and eliminate microorganisms and contaminants that could potentially lead to public health risks like E. coli and Legionella. Our water hygiene testing regimes, chemical dosing programmes and control systems ensure these standards are met in full.
We offer comprehensive testing and treatment programmes to help ensure that your closed circuit heating and chilled water systems runs smoothly, in line with best practice given by the BSRIA guidance document BG50:2021.
We also offer consultancy services where these systems have failed and require remediation to restore them to the correct water quality.
